Your old "green" licence is still valid and remains valid until the
Hunters' court case is concluded.
The Hunters' court case is presently, as far as I know, postponed indefinitely.
This presumably means that if you lose your green licence, or your ID book
with the licence in it, you can apply for a re-issue. I have no idea what
SAPS would make of it though.
A "green" licence is either a sticker in your ID book or a single-sided
laminated card with a fingerprint (not yours). These are green, therefore
"green" licences.
